  • Provides assistance with full cycle recruitment. Helps to ensure consistent and standardized hiring practices are utilized in conjunction with company policies.

  • Identifies opportunities for active sourcing.

  • Assists with the maintenance and facilitation of new hire orientation and onboarding activities.

Workplace Culture

 
  • Offers low cost and innovative recommendations to foster a positive workplace culture and improve morale.

  • Creates surveys (“stay” interviews), tracks workplace metrics and interprets the results.

  • Guides managers with facilitating difficult conversations to include coaching conversations and employee terminations.

  • Conducts exit interviews, tracks and interprets turnover metrics.

  • Creates and revises employee handbooks.

 

Compliance

 
  • Manages the employee benefits, FMLA, ADA, and I-9 administration process.

  • Prepares communications and helps advise on employee benefits. Updates annual benefits summary as applicable. Plans and manages open enrollment, employee meetings, and corresponding changes.

  • Works in partnership with insurance brokers, payroll vendors, and other consultants related to human resources.

  • Provides ongoing maintenance of employee files and HR forms.

  • Advises management on general human resources matters to include federal, state and local employment laws.

Talent Management

 
  • Provides assistance with the annual performance management process to include goal setting and designing evaluation forms.

  • Partners with management on succession planning.

Employee Relations

 
  • Creates and maintains policies and procedures. Promotes positive employee relations by ensuring the consistent adherence of policies and procedures.

  • Acts as a resource to staff for general human resources questions by utilizing an “open door” approach.

  • Provides advice to managers on complex and sensitive employee relations issues.

  • Conducts employee relations investigations at all levels as needed.

  • Partners with management to address performance concerns and disciplinary action to include verbal coaching, written warnings, and PIPs.
